About the artist
Hailing from Australia’s thriving indie-folk scene, The Dreggs - Paddy Macrae and Zane Harris - have rapidly become one of the country’s most exciting live acts. Used to commanding sold-out crowds across Australia and beyond, in 2027 The Dreggs will step onto the Twilight at Taronga stage for the very first time.
Their high-energy shows, where crowds sing along from start to finish, have become their signature.
The Dreggs’ debut album ‘Caught in a Reverie’ debuted at #3 on the ARIA Australian Albums Chart, and their breakout single “Give Myself To You” is certified Platinum in Australia.
Their sophomore album, ‘The Art of Uncommon Practice’, was praised by triple J resulting in becoming Feature Album of the Week.
Growing up on the Sunshine Coast, The Dreggs’ journey began as a local cover act, playing pubs, clubs, and cafes between surf sessions.
Fast forward seven years, and they’ve performed to over 50,000 fans across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US, Canada and Europe, a testament to the demand and reach they’ve cultivated outside of their home country. Catch The Dreggs for yourself with their Twilight at Taronga debut!
